2009 has indeed been an eventful year. Let's learn from everything that happened & move on.

Knock out the ugly past & move on!

May 2010 be a happier year, both locally & internationally, full of exciting new beginnings.

Good bye, Auntie... "Your Gentle Soul Will Forever Roam Our Hearts"

Yesterday I was sadly informed that one of the dearest persons to my heart, has passed away. But I haven't shed a tear. I'm not sad. I'm actually happy. She's finally resting, God willing. God loved her I can tell. That's why I have no worries. She was happy to finally be released of all that pain. Now she's resting in his hands, in sha Allah. My only worry is that she will be missed greatly. Yet will never, ever be forgotten. Her loving soul will forever be in our hearts.

No matter how short or long the encounters were between her & the world, she always made people around her feel loved. She would shower you with constant sweet prayers, that makes anyone feel teary-eyed, thinking how generous she is, for genuinely praying for them. That's what she was, a gentle caring soul that wished everyone peace & love.

She cherished knowledge, & loved to read. She would advise you to read & feed your knowledge on every subject. That's why education was so important to her. She wished all of us the highest of degrees, & the best of jobs.

I loved that about her.

These are just mere drops of the sea of what she was...

May she now be finally at rest. After this hard long life, full of hard work, it was time for her to sleep.

Your soul is so present...

You came into my mind yesterday...

Maybe 'cause it was your birthday...

But I didn't know that yesterday was your birthday...

I just remembered you & told myself to call & ask about you.

But before I could do that, I was informed that you have passed away...

I didn't know what to say...

All I could feel is that I wished I had asked about you earlier...

But I guess your soul notified me that you were to be gone soon...

Because I wasn't the only one

whom you visited yesterday...

Your daughter has been thinking that yesterday, your birthday,

might be your last day living on this earth...

& it was...

May you be granted the better life there in the afterlife...

that's why we shall only cry tears of joy

May Allah, grant your children, friends, & loved ones patience & endurance in this difficult time...

for they will forever miss you dearly...
