That is the cutest little donkey I have ever seen, but with the saddest story I have ever heard!
Poor Baby! :(
Btw, why don't they let another female donkey nurse him?? lol
But I know I would wanna take care of that helpless baby if I could ... :)
Hope he grows up & get healthier & stronger :D
& kudus to that caring loving woman for taking care of that cute baby donkey!
awwwwwww!
& I just would like to know WHY did the mother get shot in the first place??? Was it an accident, or was it on purpose??? Why this wasn't included in the news???

How Does a Kuwaiti Guy Show He Likes You?

I just passed by this blog on Shine/Yahoo, on "Signs a Guy Really Likes You", & normally, I don't read those love/relationship articles cuz: 1. I'm not married nor engaged, & 2. They usually don't work for our conservative culture anyways, so It's not for me, however, I couldn't resist reading this one.
I read the first few points, & scanned the rest, cuz, just as usual, I didn't see any real interest in them (at least for me), except maybe getting general knowledge. I wondered if those really work on Kuwaiti guys ... but I cant say... after all, we don't live in the same place, or share the same culture of the writer of that blog ... so, I was about to move the cursor to navigate away form the page when this idea hit me: Why not ask them?
So here I am, asking all Kuwaiti guys:

Earth Hour 2009: Kuwait Lit Up by Candle Lights
Kuwait joined over eighty other countries & made a stand against Global Warming by turning down the lights in major landmarks & touristic & commercial sites, on the annual global event Earth Hour. The Kuwait Team for Global Warming successfully organized an Earth Hour Day last Saturday March 28, on the Green Island where people learned more about this annual event & how to be more Eco-friendly & be a friend to the environment.

I joined in the action happily & was proud to see Kuwait Towers dim their lights to show support against an environmental issue. It was a spectacular feeling! I'm not an obsessive environmentalist or an Eco-friendly enthusiast to be honest, but I really support such events to be held more & more in Kuwait & the rest of the world. People need to be educated. That's why I was happy & eager to join this event to learn more about going green as much as I could. I had fun that night & can't wait till next year.
Read more about this event here.
And here's a beautiful video of Kuwait Towers as they dimmed out their lights. Awesome video!

Join Earth Hour Special Day at The Green Island: Kuwait
Join the rest of the world in a simple way to help reduce some of the harm we’re causing this planet we live in (if you wanna continue on living in it), by simply switching off your lights for just one hour.
All around the world, people are joining in this fight against Climate Change or better known as Global Warming (they're not the same, though). Kuwait is one of 84 countries voting for Earth. Supported by the Voluntary Work Center, & with permission from the WWF, The Kuwait Team for Global Warming is organizing a special Earth Hour* day promoting & raising awareness for this event on Sat March 28, 2009. The event will be held in the Green Island & will start at 4:00-10:00 p.m. People will be learning more about this issue, as well as enjoying a packed up day full of events, & will be witnessing & participating in a global event thus making a stand against global warming & helping save the planet. Earth Hour will be as it always is, from 8:30 to 9:30 that night.
I’ve attended a seminar about the issue held by the team on March 11, 2009, & the even though there were no significant visitors, the spirit of the team was not down at all. They’ve conducted the seminar gracefully & we really had fun. Here are some of the pics I’ve taken:

Earth Hour 2009: Will You Turn Off Your Lights?
Earth Hour 2009
What is Earth Hour?
"Earth Hour is an annual international event created by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund), held on the last Saturday of March, that asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Based on an idea successfully executed in Thailand in 2005, it was pioneered by WWF Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, and achieved worldwide participation in 2008.
Earth Hour will next take place on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 8:30 pm, local time." -Wikipedia.
It seems like "Elections" are a trend nowadays! LOL
Now that's a candidate I can truly "vote" for knowing it won't disappoint me!
VOTE EARTH!
So will YOU turn off your lights?
I will in sha'allah :D
